The brass plate of the dial base receives layer upon layer of lacquer, six in all, to form a regular, uniform surface. The last step is varnishing and polishing to bring out the full brilliance and depth of colour. The various inscriptions are then pad printed, and the hour markers and crown riveted by hand. The dial, gleaming in its perfection, is all set to take its place on top of the movement at the watch assembly phase. Oystersteel - Highly resistant to corrosion. You have 3 days from delivery to inspect the watch. If it is not as described, does not run or is not genuine, we take it back and cover return shipping. If you change your mind, return it unworn within 3 days with a 10% restocking fee. Purchases completed in person are final. Every watch ships with a numbered security seal and is photographed and filmed with that seal in place, so leave the seal fitted while you decide; every return is filmed as it is opened and matched against those images before a refund is issued.
